Community standards

How people are expected to behave here

These standards apply to every Qosmos surface: posts, comments, crews, missions, gatherings, projects, briefs and community spaces. Crew and community charters may add stricter rules on top.

Demo label — Enforcement in this build is demonstrated on fictional demo records. Reports, moderation decisions and audit entries are prototype artefacts and carry no legal effect.

The rules

Consent first

Post other people's work, likeness, health details, location or messages only with their agreement. Collaboration briefs must state scope, credit and consent before work starts.

No harassment or hate

No targeted abuse, threats, sexual harassment, stalking, doxxing, or attacks based on identity or belief. Crew rules can be stricter than this baseline, never looser.

No medical, legal or financial advice

Wellbeing dossiers are educational. Do not present personal diagnosis, treatment plans, dosages, legal opinions, investment advice or return promises — even as a demo.

No money movement or solicitation

Do not ask others for funds, deposits, tokens, keys or seed phrases. Ledger entries are valueless practice units; treating them as value is a violation.

No fabricated credentials or endorsements

Do not claim certifications, clinical roles, partners, funding, awards or testimonials you cannot evidence. QARDS credentials are demo verification only.

Civic integrity

Deliberation and polls are non-official. No voter targeting, political micro-profiling, coordinated manipulation or impersonation of officials or institutions.

Minors and campus safety

Qollege spaces stay age-appropriate. No sexualised content involving minors, no adult solicitation, no grooming behaviour, no age misrepresentation.

No emergency reliance

Never use ResQ or any Qosmos surface to summon help. It cannot dispatch anyone. Contact your local emergency number.

Authentic participation

No spam, engagement farming, vote brigading, bulk fake accounts or manipulated community health signals.

Reporting

Every post, profile, crew and project has a report action with reason codes (harassment, unsafe health claim, financial solicitation, impersonation, spam, minor safety, other). Reports go to a role-gated moderation queue where reviewers see the reason, the record and the audit trail.

You can also block or mute any account. Both are reversible from Settings, and neither notifies the other person.

Enforcement ladder

  1. Notice — the content stays, with context added and the reporter informed.
  2. Removal — the post, comment, project or event record is taken down.
  3. Scope limit — reduced audience, crew removal, or loss of a crew role.
  4. Suspension — the demo QosmiQ ID loses posting and joining ability.
  5. Removal from the environment — invite revoked.

Minor-safety, credible-threat and impersonation cases skip the ladder and go straight to removal.

Appeals

Any enforcement record can be appealed once from the alert that announced it. Appeals are reviewed by a moderator who did not make the original decision, and the outcome is written to the audit trail.
